Treatment Timelines: How Many Days and Visits You Need

Zirconium crown treatment follows a five-day schedule after the day you land:

• Arrival day: airport welcome and hotel. No clinical work.
• Day 1: 2D and 3D imaging, examination, tooth preparation, root canal treatment where needed, impressions and temporary teeth.
• Day 2: try-in. Length, shape, bite, speech and colour are checked.
• Day 3: usually free while the laboratory works; planned gum treatment or whitening can be done.
• Day 4: final try-in and fitting of your crowns.
• Day 5: last bite check, aftercare instructions, material documentation and your Fit to Fly letter, then the airport.

Veneers follow a similar pattern of two or three appointments within five to seven days.

First visit, arrival day plus three clinic days. On Day 1 you have a panoramic X-ray and a 3D CBCT scan, your dentist plans the position, angle and size of each implant, and surgery usually follows the same day under local anaesthetic. If bone volume is limited, grafting or a sinus lift can be done in the same session. Day 2 is a check-up and, where suitable, temporary teeth. Day 3 is a final check, aftercare instructions and your Fit to Fly letter.

Healing period. The implant integrates with the jawbone. How long this takes depends on your bone, and the clinical team stays in contact with you throughout.

Second visit, arrival day plus six clinic days. Check and impressions, try-in, two days of laboratory work that are usually free for you, final try-in and fitting, then a last check before you fly.

Your plan, not a standard package, sets the number of days. A schedule gets longer when:

• teeth need extraction, root canal treatment or gum treatment before crowns or veneers;
• bone volume is limited and grafting or a sinus lift is needed;
• many teeth are treated, or a full arch is restored;
• healing takes longer than expected.

We do not shorten a healing period to fit a return flight. That is why we send the written schedule first and ask you to book flights after it.

Send your flight number, arrival time and terminal before you travel. You are met at the baggage hall exit, and delayed flights are tracked. Plan to rest on surgery days. Free days, such as Day 3 of a crown visit or the laboratory days of the second implant visit, can be spent in Antalya: Kaleiçi old town, the marina, Antalya Museum or Konyaaltı beach. Keep your written schedule and the clinic's contact details with you while you travel; if anything changes on the day, your coordinator is the person to call.
