Zirconium Crown Treatment Process: A Step by Step Guide
Zirconium crown treatment is completed in a single visit and usually runs to a five-day schedule. It starts with an examination, moves through smile design and try-in stages, and ends with your permanent crowns being fitted. Below is what happens on each day. Your own schedule is confirmed after your examination.

Arrival day
You are met at the airport, given a short briefing and taken to your hotel. Nothing is done at the clinic that day.
Day 1
examination, analysis and start of treatment
2D and 3D images are taken. Your gum health, jaw structure and smile aesthetics are assessed and your treatment plan is discussed with you. On the same day your teeth are prepared, root canal treatment is carried out where needed, impressions are taken and temporary teeth are fitted.
Day 2
smile design and try-in
Your crowns are tried in. Tooth length, shape, bite and speech are checked. Colour preference is decided at this stage and any adjustments you ask for are noted.
Day 3
rest day and additional treatment
While the laboratory work continues, this day is usually free. If gum treatment or whitening has been planned, it is carried out today.
Day 4
final try-in and placement
The final try-in is done. Colour match, natural appearance and translucency are checked. Once you approve, your permanent crowns are fitted.
Day 5
final check and departure
Bite and fit are checked one last time. You receive your aftercare instructions, the documentation for the materials used and your Fit to Fly letter, then you are taken to the airport.
Aftercare
How long your crowns last depends on your oral hygiene and regular check-ups. We recommend brushing twice a day, cleaning between the teeth, and a check-up every six months. Avoid biting hard objects and do not use your teeth as tools.
