Treatment Costs, Explained: What Shapes Your Written Plan

Ballıpınar does not publish a price list, because the cost of dental treatment depends on what your mouth needs, not on a menu. Our dentists first review your recent photographs or X-ray and send you a written, itemised plan: the proposed treatment, the number of appointments, the time required and what is and is not included. The plan is confirmed at your first clinic appointment, after a panoramic X-ray and a 3D CBCT scan. If the examination changes what you need, your dentist explains why and you approve the updated plan before treatment starts.

What decides the cost of your treatment

Two patients asking about the same treatment rarely need the same work. Five things account for most of the difference:

  • Number of teeth or units. One crown and a full-arch restoration are different treatments.
  • Material. Zirconia, lithium disilicate glass-ceramic and porcelain fused to metal are produced differently and suit different cases.
  • Preparatory work. Extractions, root canal treatment, gum treatment, bone grafting or a sinus lift. Some implant patients need these; many do not.
  • Temporary teeth. Where suitable, we prepare temporary teeth so you are not without teeth while implants heal.
  • Number of visits. Implant treatment is usually split into two visits, because the implant needs time to integrate with the jawbone. Two visits mean two trips.

Crowns and veneers are produced in Ballıpınar's own digital laboratory, so the laboratory work sits inside the same plan.

Why we do not publish a price list

A fixed online price would be wrong for most people who read it. One patient asking for veneers needs gum treatment first; another needs root canal treatment on two teeth before any veneer is fitted. That is why our treatment pages ask you to send your details instead of showing figures, and why you receive a cost only after a dentist has reviewed your case, with the reasoning written next to each item. For the same reason we do not advertise percentage savings. Fees at home vary by practice and region, and a headline percentage cannot tell you what your own treatment will cost.

What your written plan contains

Your plan sets out, in writing:

  • the proposed treatment, tooth by tooth, and the material for each restoration;
  • the number of appointments and the days you need to be in Antalya;
  • whether treatment needs one visit or two;
  • what is included and what is not.

After treatment you also receive a written record listing the materials, implant systems and procedures used, so any dentist you see later has the clinical detail they need.

If you are comparing with treatment in the UK

In England, NHS dental treatment is charged in three bands. At the time of writing, nhs.uk lists Band 1 (examination, X-rays and scaling) at £27.90, Band 2 (adds fillings, root canal treatment and extractions) at £76.60 and Band 3 (adds crowns, bridges and dentures) at £332.10. Private practices set their own fees.

Whichever clinic you are considering, including us, ask the same four questions: Is the 3D scan included? Are temporary teeth included? What happens if the plan changes after the examination? Which check-ups are covered once you are home?

Frequently asked questions

Can you give me a price before I send photographs or an X-ray?

We can explain what affects the cost, but not a figure. A dentist needs to see recent photographs or an X-ray first. After that review you receive a written plan with the proposed treatment, the number of appointments, the time required and the cost of each item.

Can the cost change after I arrive?

It can, if the examination shows something photographs could not, such as limited bone volume that needs grafting. The panoramic X-ray and 3D CBCT scan on your first clinic day confirm the plan. Any change is explained to you, and you approve the updated plan before treatment starts.

Are accommodation and transfers part of the plan?

They can be. Accommodation and airport and clinic transfers can be arranged around your appointments; what is included depends on your plan and is confirmed before you travel.

You receive a written, itemised plan before you book any flights.
