Patient Support: One English-Speaking Coordinator, Start to Follow-Up

Every international patient at Ballıpınar has a coordinator who speaks their language; the clinic has coordinators for every language on this site. The same coordinator stays with you from your first enquiry, through treatment in Antalya, to follow-up after you return home, so you never have to explain your case again to someone new. Clinical decisions stay with your dentist. Your coordinator makes sure you understand them and that the practical side of your treatment runs on time.

What your coordinator does

  • Before you travel. Your coordinator receives your photographs or X-ray and passes them to the dentists, sends you the written plan and schedule, answers your questions about it and collects your flight details.
  • During treatment. They go through your daily schedule with you, help with communication at the clinic and arrange your transfers around your appointments. A support team is also available throughout your stay for questions about swelling, discomfort or your schedule.
  • After you return home. Your coordinator remains your first contact for questions and check-up appointments.

What your coordinator does not do

Your coordinator is not a dentist. They do not diagnose, give clinical advice or change your treatment plan. If you have pain, swelling or a question about your treatment, they pass it to the clinical team and make sure a dentist answers you. We keep these roles separate on purpose: you always know whether you are hearing a clinical opinion or practical help. For the same reason, your coordinator will not tell you that a symptom is normal or that a check-up can be skipped; that answer has to come from a dentist who knows your case.

After you return home

You leave with a written record listing the materials, implant systems and procedures used, so any dentist you see at home has the clinical detail they need. Many UK dentists will examine and maintain work carried out abroad, but practice varies, and some prefer to refer you back to the treating clinic. For check-ups and follow-up appointments in the UK, Ballıpınar has a local point of contact in London. If a clinical issue is identified, the next step is a plan agreed with the dentist who carried out your treatment. If something has not gone as you expected, you can also write to us through our patient feedback page.

Frequently asked questions

Will I deal with the same person throughout?

Yes. The same coordinator looks after you before you travel, during treatment and after you return home, so your history does not have to be repeated to someone new at each stage.

Can my coordinator help at my consultation?

Your coordinator can be with you at the clinic so nothing is lost in translation. Clinical explanations and decisions always come from your dentist.

Who do I contact if I have a problem after I get home?

Your coordinator first. For check-ups and follow-up appointments in the UK there is a local point of contact in London. Where a clinical issue is identified, you receive a plan agreed with the dentist who treated you.

Your coordinator replies and stays your contact from then on.
